Dessy Launches 'Cynthia & Sahar' - A New Social Occasion Collection

Cynthia Vor Broker Dessy has joined Sahar Nasrolai in a collaboration to design a new collection aptly named Cynthia & Sahar. Both Cynthia and Sahar worked closely for over 25 years with the company’s founder and lead designer Vivian Dessy Diamond.

Cynthia & Sahar is a fashion-forward collection of bold, curve-hugging dresses and gowns for women of all shapes and sizes.

With a focus on figure flattering, inclusive design, Cynthia & Sahar includes details such as soft draping and hourglass silhouettes. Elevated design details such as, full flared fishtail skirts and horsehair trimmed hems are hallmarks of the new line.

Cynthia & Sahar features a new Luxe Stretch Satin fabric. Luxe Stretch Satin offers a smooth soft luster with generous stretch. Subsequent offerings will include Velvet and Crepe options.

Cynthia & Sahar draws its inspiration from luxury brands such as Michael Costello, Hervé Léger and Galvan - Cynthia & Sahar was created to offer an upscale, elegant look and feel at an approachable price point.

The collection will be offered for sale early spring 2022 through Dessy Group’s network of retailers in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia and will be available online in North America on the company’s web site: dessy. com. The price point for the collection is $275 to $325 USD. The collection comes in over 24 colors including the most popular Evergreen, Desert Rose, Midnight Navy, Champagne, Mist, Toasted Sugar and a new color Pale Gold. Size range is XXS – 5X and can accommodate missy sizes 00 through 30W. Dresses have been made to fit and flatter women of all shapes.
